Fred Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Laurel

Bought a 2016 Ram 3500 used from them in June of 2019. Buying experience was great. The best I have ever had ! Was to be my go to dealership for buying vehicles in the future. Ram , Jeep etc.They will not be my go to place any longer. Went to have left rear wheel removed to fit a spare tire and multiple wheel studs where broken the tire shop wouldn’t touch it.Contacted the dealer spoke with Craig Frederick he said my vehicles are inspected and certified I know what I’m doing and vehicles don’t leave my lot like that I have been doing this 40 years. Yes I believe he’s been in the business for 40 years and knows what he’s doing. Very nice man when selling the truck along with Kelvin the salesman who is great to deal with. Point is This dealership would not replace these wheel studs which you can look at and see they have been broken for a while badly rusted. When removing the wheel to repair after they said they would not stand behind the truck more wheel studs broke due to being over torqued and cross threaded. Think one of there technicians or a outside vendor covered this damage up and didn’t report it to the service manager. If I could give 5 stars for the buying experience I would have. My rating was based on the non willingness to repair these wheel studs that where broken when I bought the truck. Not one to leave a bad review but I am repairing the truck this morning and I am frustrated because this is something they should have repaired.

I had an excellent experience buying a new Promaster 2500 from Fred Frederick Chrysler in Laurel. It was a custom order, and it took me a while to decide on exactly what features I wanted in the vehicle. Susan was patient with me and also very quick to respond to detailed questions I had about specifics of features, such as the tow package electrical harness, etc. When the van arrived, I showed up at the dealership and every person there who was involved in the process of finalizing the paperwork was professional, efficient, and straight to the point. Most importantly, they offer very competitive pricing. This was a great dealership experience and I plan to come here the next time I need another work truck or van.

The buying experience with Allen was great and I left happy. But that's where it ends. I needed 3 things fixed under warranty. They made no attempt to take care of me. I asked for a rental and was told 35$ a day. So I went to my local dealer and they provided me a rental free of charge and I was treated like family. Fred Frederick will no longer get my business. It's easy to sell a vehicle to someone. But when we need you to help us out where were you?? Pathetic!

This dealer was a pleasure to buy from. The trade in price was more than expected. I was a walk up from a aggressive dealer and was presently surprised at the family type atmosphere. The salesman was both patient and intelligent about the sales process and the vehicle it self. This was a smooth process from becoming to end, without the the high pressure sales.
