Wonderful little tea shop! They have such a diverse selection of tea, and use proper temperature and steeping time. They even do multiple infusions of their stronger teasnGood selection of savory and sweet items too! Highlights were their curry buns and matcha parfait. Nice for a light lunch or snack break while shopping around.nReally friendly customer service, they even dragged out a higher table for my girlfriend and I to eat outside on the porch. Worth the trip halfway round the Beltway
I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I have to say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the place clean at all times. Pricing is convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
I have been to Matcha Time half a dozen times or so. I really want to like this cafe, however due to the poor service, odd hours, and horrible location I will not be coming back. When I have gotten food it has been high quality and delicious.
Really good coffee and tea. We had a london fog tea latte and the shakerato, and both were very good. A shakerato is a triple shot latte sweetened with agave. I typically don't sweeten my lattes, especially at a good coffee place that roasts their own beans, but they really didn't over-sweeten it.
Great ramen, great desserts. Mochi, icecream, cakes, candies. There are a lot of fun japanese trinkets if you are looking for gifts. The place is small and it might be a little expensive but I promise it will taste good. Support a small business and eat something delicious!
