This was my first time here and it was nice! The reservations for each room are staggered accordingly so that the room can be fully sanitized and disinfected before your scheduled time. The circus room was difficult but fun. We did not successfully exit but we found out there were 3 rooms in our room. Lol. We made it to the second room. I will definitely try another room at this location.
I went to this Escape Room while visiting Baltimore last year and all I got was a t-shirt, a great time, a cool facility, and a nice staff. It was just me and my wife in a room designed for a minimum of 4. We were SECONDS away from solving the final puzzle and we ran out of time. Even losing to the room, the Game Master was very complimentary that we got so far. Cool puzzles and mechanics. Suggestion: larger t-shirts. I'm always willing to pay a couple bucks extra for B&T sizes. Keep a couple in stock. :)
Here are the FACTS. We were running late and called to see if that would be an issue and were told by staff it was not going to be an issue at all and they would see us soon. We arrive 5 minutes after the game start (and I evidence on my phone to prove it). The staff was rude, yelled, switched stories, and exhibited absolutely appalling behavior. Now they are putting out false information about what occurred. I wonder if they would do that if we so happened so have a recording.......hm.. I’ve never in my life encountered such horrible treatment let alone by a business in dire need of customers. Can’t wait to see this one go under.
Fun time! Not too difficult or too easy.
The business said “ Hello, Emily. When you called one minute before your game time to say you were running late, you implied you were very close. We let you know that we couldn't move you to a later time, but if you were close, we could accommodate it. You arrived shortly after, but your fiance didn't arrive for another 10 minutes. We advised that we needed to start your clock, but if the game after you did not book, we could give that time back.nnWe tried to do our best to accommodate your being so late to your game. We could not just move you to a later time as you requested, however. If you were there only 5 minutes after your game time, there would not have been an issue whatsoever, because that happens almost every day. If the story we gave changed, it was because we were trying to adjust to the situation changing before us, namely your staggered and increasingly late arrival.”nnHERE IS MY REPLYnn1. We were NEVER told the time would start or we wouldn’t be accommodated. In fact literal assurances were made to the contrary. We were told “no problem”.nn2. On the phone (and I have a witness) we said were were 5 mins away, which we were, and I even said we were crossing over Broadway. Giving our exact location doesn’t “imply” anything.nn3. My fiancé was not 10 minutes later and I have proof and you probably do to. That is a grossly misleading approximation of him PARKING on Market street and literally sprinting here.nn4. Please understand you were this unaccomodating and rude When THERE WAS LITERALLY NO ONE ELSE THERE OR AFTER US.nn5. THIS MUST BE LOUD AND CLEAR. OUR MAIN COMPLAINT WASNT ABOUT YOUR POLICY. IT WASNT EVEN THAT YOU TOLD US OTHERWISE ON THE PHONE. OUR COMPLAINT IS HOW NASTY RUDE AND DISGUSTING YOUR STAFF WAS TO US, A PAYING CUSTOMER, ESPECIALLY IN LIGHT OF ALL THE CIRCUMSTANCES. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR HOW WE WERE TREATED AND INTERRUPTED AND CUT OFF AND THE TONE WITH WHICH YOU SPOKE TO US. YOU CAME DOWN THE STAIRS READY TO YELL THAT WE ASKED TO SPEAK WITH YOU. NOT SURE WHAT ACCOUNT THE FEMALE EMPLOYEE GAVE YOU BUT PERHAPS SHE LEFT OUT HER ATTITUDE AND NASTY TONE AND HOW SHE WAS INTERRUPTING THEN DRONING WHEN I WAS TRYING TO ASK HER A QUESTION. THEN YOU CAME DOWN THE STAIRS AND SEALED THE DEAL. IT WAS DISGRACEFUL AND SHOCKING HOW YOU BARKED AT US. AND IM SURE YOU WOULDNT WANT A RECORDING OF THAT ATTITUDE POSTED ONLINE SO STOP STANDING BEHIND ANYTHING THAT YOU DID HERE.
