In 20 years of teaching science and training science teachers around the world, BCBS is the most effective public school that I have seen.nnIt is laser-focused on its mission of keeping black boys engaged in school and heading toward college. And by every measure, it is succeeding at its mission.nnThe kids don't want to leave the building at the end of the school day. The staff has to shoo them out of the building and lock the doors after school ends to keep them from hanging out till dark with the teachers and principals and every other adult who pour their heart and soul into teaching and mentoring the boys who are lucky enough to be part of BCBS.

I'm a student from the school they share our building with us and bcsfb isn't a problem because they are good mannered and they get along with the scholars like me who been there for more than a year but not so much with the new girls at LMCJS but BCSFB isn't a horrible school because it's LMCJS building but we shared.

i LOVE this school! theyre strict, the ciriculum is amazing, and the staff is awesome! I love the goal for the school, that they make the boys participate in sports and teaches them brotherhood. My son is way more comfortable in this schoo than his previous school. He loves it and so do I! So happy we chose baltimore collegiate!
