It is magical for kids the love the laughter and the knowledge these children have is beautiful. And the staff are perfect for the children they fit like a glove. Everything about the green school is beautiful.
Love this school! Director and staff are caring and very knowledgeable. They do amazing things with very little. Kids are happy and learning. They expend time outside, they explore their neighborhood and surrounding parks. They think. As other parent said, you can't pay for a better education than this. GSB should be used as a model for other city schools to do things like they should be done, with the children interests a front.
I live in the neighborhood of this school and I see the learning and teaching going on at this school on a daily basis, and I am very impressed with what I see. I wish all schools taught this same way, they need too. All I hear and see at this school is pure unrestricted happiness in a learning atmosphere. Wish more schools caught on to the future.
The Green School of Baltimore uses experiential environmental education to teach students to be stewards of the environment, the community and themselves.nnBoth of my daughters did their primary education at the Green School. I can't imagine a better education in Baltimore City.
