Alma is consistently amazing! There is no bad meal to be had here. The food is exoticnand exquisite. The ethos of the owners and excellent staff is one of caring and enlightenment. Please do not hesitate to experience this brilliant restaurant. Arguably the most innovative food in Baltimore.

This place is BOMB!!! Have tried most of the menu at this point and there’s nothing I wouldn’t recommend. Importantly, they aren’t messing around with covid precautions and have taken no shortcuts to promote the safety of their staff and clientele. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I valued this place as a special place before they moved. I was excited to go back but for my first experience back — I’ll have to to say their front of the house service has changed. They were rude when we were late to our reservation due to unforeseen circumstances in which we notified them about ahead of time. Proceeded to our table, i asked if they had an item on the menu (that was previously on their old menu), server responded “if it’s not on the menu, then we don’t have it”. Sorry this is just not a great customer service response. They proceeded to rush us through our dinner. For a place like alma i truly expected better comparing it to their old location. I hope everyone has a better experience with front staff because the food and drinks are great.

Food, live guitarist Thursdays, ambiance...so great! (This was from 2019.)nn2020- year of Covid galore- we went to Alma again and seriously, the food is delicious! (Eventhough the menu is limited due to the pandemic, the quality is still top notch!) I now have a new summer favorite...the gazpacho. Amazing. Really. And one day, when The Nacional (beef arepa) is not sold out, I'd like to try it, just in case I have additional favorite added to my list of favorites!
