Absolutely amazing! This was our spot when we where there! The food is very good! The owner and staff are extremely friendly! Food was fresh. We ate there several times! Plus it was right by our hotel!!! Will definitely be going back!!!

Terrible!! Got the catfish and was extremely greasy. Well so was the fries and okra. Says shrimp are imported!! Why does a Louisiana eatery import shrimp? Said catfish was local but not likely. Will not stop here again. ud83eudd37‍♂ufe0f

Labor Day and most places are closed and that made us LUCKY! We came across Sam's Southern Eatery and what a WIN. Fried shrimp, fries, red beans and rice on one plate and the other was fried oysters, grilled fish covered with delicious smoothed onions and green peppers! The gentleman serving us was excellent and took care of everything promptly. Life is good with southern seafood goodness in your belly ud83dude01 I highly recommend Sam's Southern Eatery. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is a hidden jewel. They have the best fried shrimp and fish in the area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Place was nice and clean. Food was great and delicious. Price was OK $$. And service was great. Keep up the great work.
