Phenomenal. Loved the biscuits they brought out before our meal. The soup of the day was delicious. The chicken and waffles were spectacular. This restaurant has so much charm. Service was great too. Can’t wait to come back!!!
As a vegan I asked for any options under the veggies and grain section. The chef kindly made a vegan dish for me. The dish was very flavorful and had the best cooked mushrooms I have ever had. I also got the house punch which was also amazing!! They have a good drink section and everyone was beyond friendly.
Wow! Quintessential New Orleans. I loved the setting - inside and out. I made it for happy hour and enjoyed liver mousse with a perfect French 75. I had great service. Thank you Jake! Oh I will be back.
There's a new cook as told by server and the food was good but not as good as previously. I didn't like where were seated because there was no overhead shed and every other table outdoor had an umbrella covering. Even the side porch seating had an overhead covering and it made feel as though I was being treated differently because that's where we were seated. We had not been served yet so we should have been offered the umbrella table that became available and I am wondering if that affected the taste of the food in my mouth.
Atchafalaya has an ever changing menu - but food and service are consistently outstanding. The special on my most recent visit was the short ribs which were magnificent! My brother lives walking distance and frequently visits for drinks or dinner. I highly recommended this place.
