A very good friend of mine drove me down to have lunch here. The food was pretty good and the waitress was just so sweet. Everyone there clearly were locals and it was just very nice being in a out of the way family type restaurant. Definitely a trip to make.
My only problem the alcohol Drinks are too high! I travel for a living. Well not much else around so they got you. House well $9.00 is crazy! It's really good food & they give plenty big portions. My brother & friend go couple times a week and always happy! The crawfish were spicy and deliciously tender!! Not easy to please me with seafood & especially crawfish. I ate too many! Really great service. Super small like 5 or 6 tables and nice bar to sit at probably 8 seats. Take it to go!! Or enjoy the people - good people.
Best food I've had anywhere New Orleans, anyone traveling to New Orleans needs to take a side trip to Thompson's Kitchen, you will be glad you did.
