Marco's Pizza

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The staff at this location (at least the staff there on this occasion) will soon run this business into the ground FAST. We order at least four times a month and have had multiple issues, but we’ve always chalked them up as growing pains and continued to support this new business. We own a local business in the area and would never allow an employee to treat a customer the way my husband was today. We ordered a pizza at 4:42p and Brittany (she later stated she was the manager) asked whether or not the drivers tip should be added to the charge to which my husband advised we’d tip in cash. At 6:15 no pizza so he calls to inquire. The employee who answered asked for a ticket number (why would we have that?) then acted as if the order was never placed until my husband told her his card was already charged. Once told this, she says “oh. That’s carry out”. He asked if it was supposedly carry out why Brittany mentioned a tip for the DRIVER. He asked to speak with a manager and she very rudely said, “well you can come get the pizza!” And proceeded to laugh (never apologizing) and asked if he wanted to just cancel the order. When he told her he wanted to cancel the order, she hung up on him. Having paid for something we didn’t receive, he calls back. The “manager” would not give her name, franchisee information (this isn’t hard considering the age of the internet), or any identifying information and proceeds to hang up again. My husband had to drive to the location and ask to speak with a manager again and 2/4 employees claimed they were the manager. He was asked again if he wanted the cold pizza and when he asked for a void receipt he was once again treated poorly. An employee making snarky remarks pulled out her phone presumably to call a boyfriend or friend to make my husband feel threatened (right idea, wrong one... I can assure you). We will never spend another dime at a Marcos Pizza and I am delighted to see if this is an accepted business practice. I’ll be writing a letter to home office and the franchisee with additional information.

Marcos Pizza opened yesterday near Jimmy Davis, a very convenient location for me. Being a vegetarian I ordered a garden pizza which came with a complimentary bread. We really relished the pizza. It had a good amount of different veggies in its topping. Best of all it was not oily at all and was very delicious. The staff was very courteous. I can certainly rate this pizza among the best I have eaten. The bread that came with two dips is also very delicious. I will recommend this pizza highly. I understand that Marcos has a branch in Shreveport and two in Bossier including this one.

Delicious! I love the fact that you can build your own calzone. The only place that offers that. The Romasean Crust is amazing. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Tried to place an online order for carry out at 9:00 pm so I could take advantage of a 30% off coupon I received from the Jimmie Davis location. I was unable to place the order online,because of the website. I called the store and asked if I could use the coupon over the phone and was told there was nothing they could do about the problem. Our family orders from Marcos a couple of times a month. No more. Very poor customer service. You lost a $40 order.

Hands down... best pizza I’ve ever had and great service!
