As of today, 08th March 2021, there has been another unannounced rate increase by USD 12 per month. At this point, I am seriously considering filing fraud charges against this company! Since it changed from AAAA to Compass Self Storage, they keep increasing the rates, 2018 by 40 Dollars and just now by another 11 Dollars. This means, an increase of almost 64% within two years, although I had rented that unit already in 2011- for a rate of only 40 Dollars per month. They know exactly that I live in Germany and cannot do anything else but pay the increased rate, also because the unit contains several keepsakes from my little son, who passed away in 2018. In Europe, this would be called street-robbery and extortion and would be highly illegal. The best of all is that they would not even notify me ahead of the raised rate, although they do have my e-mail address.
General Manager did a great job booking me in. Move in was fast and Easy. Great rates, Would recommend anyone looking for a storage unit to consider this one. 5/5
