I’ve been here on a guess pass years ago. Now all of a sudden I have a $230 bill with them and yet I’ve never been in their facilities after the guest visit but yet I’m being charged?? Then it goes to collections and I’ve NEVER received a notice about a balance or it even going to collections. Definitely reporting this to the BBB

I went in for a work out the same day I opened my membership. Right after that, I literally got sick and I've been at home sick quarantined. Your gym is not clean. I didn't see any staff members cleaning the equipment at all. And it contributes to my health status and how I got sick. Notify manager and have people clean please. It's gross and cost me and many others health and lives to be in jeopardy.

Outstanding gym, grabbed a workout here while I was traveling and had my best workout in months. Great array of machines, squat racks, and free weights. Also have a full basketball court, racketball court, and a laned pool. Definitely recommend.

The worst part about any gym is the billing. In this case I had a conversation/agreement that they would put my membership on hold until they were going to open to normal operations with no restrictions. Fast forward to August when they just decided to start billing me for the membership again. Note they are not running under normal conditions. No I don't wear a mask and no I will NOT wear one to work out. Upon contacting them no they will not refund my money but are more than willing to put it on hold again? Seriously this is how you do business? They must not understand how much it costs to gain a customer?

This location is great! I had some issues with VASA cooperation in the past. Basically, at another location I was lied to by one of the fitness workers into signing a training contract, which states that you may not opt out of contract until the length of the contract has been completed. However, I was verbally told that I can opt out of any time. I was a poor college student and knew that at some point I was going to be able to continue to afford training. Long story short, They ended up sending a bill to collections and I had to pay VASA $1000. At that point I swore I would never step inside a VASA ever again. Fast forward a couple years, I moved to Layton, and the closest gym to my home was VASA. Hesitantly, I decided to step inside just to see if I can get a day pass so I can play basketball. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the front desk staff were. And then I tried a different gym farther away from my house and they tried to sell me again (just like VASA had did in the past). So I was turned off. Begrudgingly, I returned to VASA Layton the next day. There I told them that I wanted to sign up for a basic membership. I talked to one of the workers who helped sign me up and he was again nice, and he actually didn't try to sell me on anything. Basically by not trying to sell me, I was sold. I can't speak for other VASA locations, but I really enjoy this location. They have been good to me and other locations should look to follow from their example.
