At this location it is a lot of young individuals ranging from 18 -25 but it is still a great place to work. My issue was the commute getting off at 12:45a.m driving home 45 minutes from work alone. I originally worked this job during their peak seasons from October until late January of which was a part time job for me on my days of from my main job of 4 days 12 hours and Amazon 3 days 10 hours. I was hired on permanently at Amazon and was planning on going trying to transfer to a local facility not far from my home. The process took longer than I expected and my shift changed on my regular job before the transfer happened, I was looking to leave my main job for Amazon if I could have gotten transferred.
I personally don't like working here. I feel that some of the leads are on power trips and don't know how to talk to people. There's one in particular whom everyone agrees has a bad attitude. They don't help out when lines are slow and the expect you to be in 2 places at one time. I am trying to transfer to another facility.
Get it together. To many ppl walking around chit chatting. Unorganized
I started back November last year, co workers are nice . I feel very appreciative & value as employee. Always keep us posted information about company & MGE8 site.
I kind of really like this Amazon facility they're pretty laid-back no issues with getting a trailer or an empty and getting out on time
