What an incredible experience! I highly recommend this office for any procedure. Everyone (doctor, staff, etc.) were beyond welcoming and great to work with. I personally had a fat transfer breast augmentation procedure and it is straight up magic! The recovery process has been so easy and smooth (it's been about a month by now), and everyone at Surface lets you know they're here to help along the way into recovery. Highly, highly recommend this office!

Doctor gives off bad vibes. I felt like he treated me like a number and treated me in a condescending manner. He was far from friendly or welcoming. He completely lacked bedside manner, I felt like I wasn’t seen, heard, or understood. I went to get laser hair removal and I felt belittled and he made me feel like I was wasting his time because my hair was too light so there was nothing they could do. He asked me questions as if he was questioning my life choices (why would a woman get her MASTERS?!). I felt uncomfortable the whole time. To top it off, I went into his office to wait and my chair was seated right next to his computer, which was completely open with many pictures of clients which is a huge HIPPA violation. This made me distrust them and I would not trust them with my personal information. The esthetician was kind and willing to consult with me and did a patch to test and see if it would work for the color of my hair, which was nice. However, I felt their office lacked organization because they never asked why I wanted a consultation in the first place, which could have saved me from meeting with the Doctor, and they didn’t walk me through the steps of the procedure so I had no idea what to expect, what it would feel like, etc. Really weird vibes and I’m definitely not going back.

Dr. Barson and the staff at Surface Medical Spa always make me feel welcome. The extra precautions during Covid-19 are appreciated and I felt safe and comfortable visiting. I'm so happy with my Newtox results and will be a customer forever!

Friendly staff, professional environment and excellent access to convenient scheduling. I’ve been treated with facial neurotoxins regular with excellent results, Loyal client. Would recommend.
