We purchased our first boat in years April 2020. All my previous boats were on trailers. This was our first large lake locked boat, 37' cruiser/yacht.nThe staff at Park Marina is amazing. We drive past two other Marinas to use Park. From choosing a slip to excellent service from the repair and maintenance team; these people are top notch.nBailey in slip leasing and Dan in maintenance run there departments flawlessly.nWe would not dream of keeping our boat anywhere else.
Rental boats at Park Marina are always nice, clean and well kept. And the staff is friendly and efficient. Great place to rent!
July 24, 2020. Annual trip to Allatoona to rent a boat and the experience was great as always. Was told this year though that Park Marina changed insurance companies and now as part of our check out for the boat we had to look at a picture of a partially severed foot from a propeller injury. It was just as gruesome as you could imagine. What is the point of that? If I rent a car from Avis they don't force me to look at a picture of somebody who had been ejected from the car for not wearing a seatbelt. I understand they're trying to send a message, but making me look at a severed foot before I went out on the lake just seemed like way too much.
Beautiful marina, lovely boats. Decent security for those interested in docking here as well.
