Went last night with my grandchildren. They absolutely loved it!! Great light display and traffic was moving without any delays. Hope they have this again next year. Will definitely attend. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.
The lights are simply incredible right now, there’s hardly any words. You definitely have to see it for yourself. So many great pictures that make it difficult to capture the true beauty. It’s so elegant with all the white lights and all the businesses that go all out for it. The weather is also not too bad so it’s definitely worth a trip out.
Hands down one of the best family or date nights you can plan during the holidays! Nights of Lights is listed as one of the top ten holiday light displays in the WORLD by National Geographic. St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights has millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere in the Nation’s Oldest City, and it's free of charge. This season they take place every evening from November 14, 2020 to January 31, 2021.
If you're anywhere near St Augustine during the Thanksgiving to Christmas holidays you should definitely check out the Nights of Lights! You can drive around the historic district (not recommended due to traffic), you can walk it or catch one of the trolleys(recommended). We always have a great time due to the festive atmostphere.
This was a just okay. I don’t understand how it can be a top light display in the US. Don’t get me wrong, the lights are pretty but we did a trolley tour and it didn’t really seem worth it. I kept waiting for the light displays and just saw a bunch of lights in a park. I’m happy I did it, but I don’t feel the need to do it again. It was also VERY crowded and not many people wearing masks.
