For a local coffee shop chain, Kookaburra has figured out how to do things right and give the big chains a run for their money. The coffee is fresh and they have a great variety of drink options. Their baked goods are good too, especially the Aussie Pies. For those of you unfamiliar with Aussie Pies, like I was, they are small individual sized pot pie style baked goods. In the morning they call them Brekkies and they are similar to a quiche but with a top crust too. They have several flavors to choose from, but be sure to get there early or order ahead because they are baked fresh daily and they sell out fast. The same is true of their lunch pies, which on this trip we unfortunately missed out on because we didn't get there before they sold out. No worries though, because we will definitely be back.
Great little cafe. Coffee was delicious and so was the Vegan pumpkin cinnamon donut and the berry lemon bread!
A delightful little coffee and breakfast spot with an incredible in house roastery. I highly recommend them if you're in the area.
I love our local Australian coffee shop! Great service, excellent coffee and roasted beans, and scrumptious treats!
The honey badger latte was great, very good balance of flavors. Will stop by again whenever in st Augustine.
