Update: Love the new location. Health food is more expensive, that's just a fact. I want to support Diane's because it is the only health food store in town.nThe prices seems more reasonable these days. On occasion I have gone there to shop and was met by friendly faces and a helpful young lady. It's nice to see they are getting better.nn6 years ago: It is really too bad that the only Health Food store in St Augustine has such rude people working for them, people who follow you around the store if you do not fit a respectable profile ... heck, I'm in my late 50's and never have I experienced such a rude bunch of people.nnThe items are way too high priced, I can go to on-line and get most items for $10 -&17. cheaper and it's the exact same item!nnCrazy .... I might even put up with the high prices if the people treated you with respect, but alas ... they do not, so I will stop shopping there.

I've worked at and visited literally hundreds of natural food markets around the country and have never encountered a health food store that does not accept EBT foodstamps. Essential food items were overpriced compared to other health food stores, and management was slightly rude. I get the feeling that this place is classist, and does not benefit the community the way a natural market should

With the understanding that this is a small, family owned business, they do a very good job of managing this grocery store. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and organized, and they have a wonderful selection of organic groceries and health goods. I would shop here more, but some items are fairly expensive. In my search to find flour during the early months of the pandemic, I wound up paying a staggering $12 for a 2 pound bag of organic, whole wheat flour and $6 for a tiny can of tomato paste. Maybe their prices rose because of COVID, but be aware that some items will be pricier than others. Other items, like fresh whole bean coffee, nuts, and other weigh-able products are very reasonably priced, so it all depends on what you're looking for.

Diane's Natural Market, located in St. Augustine, Florida, was a pleasant shopping experience. The place was clean, well organized, and cool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Their prices were reasonable for a healthy food centric store. I would have rated 6hem 5 stars if they were just a little bit larger. But the store is definitely a 5 star kind of store. Give them a try!

Staff has usually been friendly but the lady at the register today was totally entitled, rude, and snobby. Paid around $20 for less than a pound of stale macadamia nuts. She may have been a Flagler student. Did not seem like a local.
