We decided to order from Papa John's because we wanted something different from our usual pizza place; I can say our experience was different from our expectations. We ordered at almost 5pm and the app said it would be about 45 minutes. When it was 6:10 we called the store to make sure our order was placed and were told by the manager that they were running a little behind. We were patient, which is troublesome with a 9 year old and two 8 year olds, but we were able to keep them calm.nnTwo hours after we ordered the pizza finally showed up. My wife's food was burnt she the rest was undercooked.nnWe have no incentive to ever order from this place again. The service is terrible, the food was nasty, and that's pretty bad for the extra food expense of choosing to eat at a Papa John's.nn*** FOLLOW-UP ***nThe owner responded to my review and provided their email so they could reach out and make it right. I sent my info and still have not heard back, not a single word. I see the owner has sent the same responses to other negative reviews and now I'm curious if other reviewers have had the same result. I'm hoping it's not a ploy just to appear as if they are resolving issues on reviews when in fact they are not.

We ordered 3 pizzas from here for my Husbands birthday and half way through eating my first slice I pulled a FINGERNAIL clipping out of my mouth!!!! Honestly, it was the most disgusting and disturbing thing. We specifically order from this place because it’s supposed to be “better ingredients” but no no no, just nasty! I wish I could post a photo on this review... Feel free to check it out on the YELP app! Even though the manager said she would give us a credit for the incident, we will never be ordering from here again.

I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza online tonight with an estimated delivery time of 71-81 minutes. After 1.5 hours the tracking system showed my pizza had not even been baked yet. I called the store to inquire on the status and the girl who answered told me that they had gotten backed up by a large order and put my on hold for a manager. After being on hole for 23 minutes, I hung up and called back which was answered by a manager who told me the same thing. Not once did they offer to refund the cost of my pizza give me a coupon or anything to make this situation right. Finally, 2 hours and 15 minutes later a very friendly driver delivered my pizza. This was the first and the last time I will ever order from Papa John’s in Winter Haven!!

Pizza always good, but after ordering extra olives they were a bit scant when we got home. Otherwise great experience.

I supposed to pick up my order of 3 pizzas ,they were like 6 employees at the front counter, one of them ask me for my order number and name, he told my order have to be remake to wait 15 minutes to be baked so I waited outside in my car after 15 minutes I went and ask for my order and they can’t find it after a few minutes they came out to tell me that my order was not done because it didn’t show up on their screen. This is what happened when you have a bunch of kids “working” or better yet on the clock not doing or paying attention to their jobs . Very bad experience.
