Double D Painting

We have used David multiple times and have never had any issues. He painted the shop that I am manager of and did an amazing job. They are very professional and honest. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a painter.

Double D Painting is very professional. The do great a quality of work. They seem to know alot about color and color matching. Would use them again anytime.

It deeply saddens me to write this review and I will try to be brief. This was my second time using David so I trusted him. When we decided to use him again, I specifically told him to use Sherwin Williams paint and that I would buy the paint. He said he could get it for a cheaper price. Fine. So he started the job and I see him using a paint company)Lanco) who I told him to NOT use. He used it on my other house and it marks easily. I should of fired him right then. He swore to me that this paint is better than S.W. I trusted him. About a month later I notice marks all over my walls and sent David pictures. Called the paint company (Lanco) and was told by David's own sales rep (Scott) that he thinks the paint was diluted. Called David and after 20 mins on the phone he agreed to repaint the rooms using S.W. like I originally asked. The following week, he came over with four other people ( wife, two daughters and another worker) to repaint. Nope, he came over to look at the marks and told me to use the paint kit to fix the marks. Are you kidding me! The paint is only 3 months old! He told me all paint makes marks and that you have to retouch. His daughter (whom I like) said she takes a Magic Eraser and cleans her walls weekly. Um.... I don't know anyone who has to clean their walls weekly. He then raised his voice, said a few words and walked out. I filed with the BBB and am pursuing legal action because I paid him a lot of money. His labor work is good-- he just doesn't listen.
