Mona Lisa Pizzeria South Cape Coral

For starters, this place told me they were the best pizza in Cape Coral. I’m ok with them saying that and I hope they truly believe it. I haven’t tried anywhere else yet, so as far as it goes, they may still be.nnI recently moved here from Maryland, but did all my vacationing at the Jersey Shore. That being said, I am always very critical of pizza and always compare it to the south Jersey pizza I’m accustomed to.nnLet me start by saying it was good. Not great, but pretty good. First few bites of the plain slice reminded me of my favorite pizza in Jersey, but just not quite there. A bit more sauce may have fixed that. Crust had a nice chew to it and nice flavor.nnHowever, the slice with ham and bacon was very salty. I tried the ham and bacon separately and it was definitely from the bacon. Not a deal breaker, but I would have preferred it to be a little more mellow. Again, more sauce or even a sweeter sauce would have corrected it.nnEnvironment inside was super chill, very clean and staff was super friendly.nnThe two reviews that compared this pizza to Little Caesars are just plain out dumb. This pizza is light years ahead of those chain store pizzas.nnOverall, I think the 4 stars I’m giving is generous. I’m giving them 4 instead of 3 for staff, cleanliness, environment and rapid preparation.nnI will try this pizza again after I’ve tried a few others. I wanna really challenge that best in Cape Coral theory.

Pizza was really delicious! One of the best we have had since moving to Fl. Crust was super tasty and toppings were fresh and covered pizza. Also tried the stromboli and it was my kids favorite. Friendly staff and made us feel very welcome even though they were very busy. Recommend!

In the past month I got 2 to go orders from Mona Lisa and they were both very good. The baked ziti dinner was delicious. But the pizza is what really stands out. The crust sauce and sausage toppings were excellent. Looking forward to the next time and trying a few other dishes.

It was our first time ordering from Mona Lisa in Cape Coral and it was wonderful! The meatballs were awesome! The pizza was delicious and the chicken parmigiana dinner was soooo yummy! Thank you for your quick delivery and generous portions!!

Have some business to attend at the area, driving all day. After living in Italy for many years having to eat a good pizza is something hard to accomplish unless you live in a major city. What a surprise this was. Fresh ingredients, great dough recipe and wonderfully timing with the crust temperature. 10 out of 10 I completely recommend it if you happen to pass by.
