THE JACKSONVILLE BEACH PIER IS CLOSED AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION.nnFor some reason Google keeps changing the status of the pier to as open. Just hate to see people waste a trip thinking they will be able to use the pier.nnI really hate to give my local pier a 1 star. Since the hurricane in 2016 the Jacksonville pier has laid in ruins. The city/county has not even started to repair anything. For this reason I have to give the Jacksonville Pier a ONE STAR...../for now. I hope they start work repairing it this year.

The Jacksonville Beach Pier is definitely a good Beach attraction with lots of restaurants and bars to patronize. A good place to go and spend a day. Don't forget your masks. Be safe and enjoy our Jacksonville Beach merchants. The Jacksonville Pier closes at 9pm.
