Very disappointed in our visit to Firehouse Subs in Layton today. They were out of cookies, brownies, steak, most flavors of soda from the machine were out. They didn't give us pickle spears with our sandwiches. The meatball sandwich had barely any sauce on it. Definitely not worth the money we spent! With as much food items that they were out of Firehouse Subs should be closed until this specific location is stocked properly!
We walk in ,there's a sticker on the floor it says "start line here", so I walk up to the counter and the chubby girl behind the counter says "no go over there" then maybe you should move your stickers then!! It took longer than it should have to be made. My husband's soup cup was not filled up all the way. Not a great experience. Cashier boy was nice though.
So disappointed with this location. We went in last week and they were out of time of things. The chips weren’t even the right size. Store bought items to dress up your sandwich. The freestyle drink machine was out of almost everything. The employee Steven was not nice and was acting like he really didn’t want to be there... i was kinda indecisive and he was not patient with me at all... I’ve only ate firehouse one other time so I’m not sure what I like there yet... took forever for them to make our sandwiches. We will not be going back to this location... although the sandwiches were really good!
Worst experience at this location today. I have come here multiple times in the past with no problem. The staff was super slow. All of them seemed like it was their first day on the job. I ordered to-go and when I finally got my order the sandwiches were terribly wrapped and thrown in a bag, not boxed like every other time. The sandwiches were assembled poorly as well and didn’t seem like every other sandwich I’ve had from there. Having second doubts about returning to this location. Horrible experience.
I love Fire House Subs, they taste great when my order is how I requested. I placed an online order for a club on a sub w/out onions and spicy mustard. I picked it up and had to get back to work so I didn't think to check my sandwich because they've always gotten it right. I had to pick off the onions and scrap off as much of the mustard as I could. But those flavors were still in there. I was very disappointed. They also used a knife to cut my sub that had leftover marinara on it. I don't have food allergies but others do. I hope this location improves their safe food handling training and/or enforcement.
