It's been incredible having Southern Roots open in our neighborhood. The food, coffee, drinks & service is second to none. Customer for life.
This place is a night and day difference from the Avondale location. And not in a good way.nnBread and biscuits are often stale.nnThey somehow can’t manage to get regular cheese (or any cheese) for their Proud Mary and other sandwiches.nnStep up your game guys. It’s competitive at the beach in the times we’re living in.
I have visited here twice now and have enjoyed it. The menu is understandably limited because of their size, but very vegan friendly, gluten free, and all sorts of conscious accommodations in food. Great coffee. Support local business.
Amazing matcha latte, the avacodo toast is also amazing, I would definitely recommend. The staff are very friendly and the cafe is open, and simple. It’s perfect!
Just went today and enjoyed a very nice latte. You can sit inside, but as is the norm for 2020, social distancing and face masks are required. Very nice staff and a clean and well-lit environment.
