This is a really cool one of a kind thing that you can experience in Florida. We came down here during spring break so it was really packed with people which made the wait time way longer than usual. when coming here i would put aside 2.5 hours for the parking, getting tickets, on and off the boat and etc. seemed like a pretty clean facility with cool faculty. Captain Dylan did a good job with creating a good energy that put everyone in a better mood which made the tour much more enjoyable. He was very informing of the history and wildlife and you can really tell he enjoys what he does. Overall, i think it’s worth the price and wait just because it’s something really unique and interesting and it’s really just a one time thing. Great for people of all ages.
I had a really enjoyable time here! Lots of interesting animals to see, including ones that have been taken from less than ideal places (perhaps unsuitable homes) and now have a better place and the opportunity to educate the public. Not only did I enjoy seeing the alligators, but also many interesting and colourful birds! The boats were also fun and felt very safe. Will post some pictures later if I can.
The boat ride was entertaining but you don’t really get to do anything you just sit and look for wild life and listen to the the boat driver talk. The show was very entertaining and fun to watch but again you can’t do anything but watch and listen. Our instructor was very funny and made lots of jokes and his name was Kevin. After the show you do have a opportunity to hold a baby alligator or look at one but the lines are probably gonna be a little long most the time. When I went the line was to long but it looks fun.
Great way to spend the day! Wildlife everywhere! The guides were very fun and interactive, making the ride a complete experience! Beautiful views that can't be missed! Great gift shop and Gator show! The cafe has really great gator bites as well! Best place to go for exploring the Glades!
We arrived around 10am on a Saturday. We were the 3rd boat to go out. We saw about 5 gators, and several large iguanas. Our driver was JR and he was fabulous! The gator show was informative and very fun! Construction wasn't happening as I guess it was the weekend so there weren't any interruptions. Definitely had a great time! Afterwards enjoyed the Everglades Platter for lunch.
