Its such a beautiful place. I've been coming here ever since my dad passed away (he was a Vietnam Vet) and somehow I feel a lot closer to him whenever I am there.

It’s a beautiful memorial. Being local to Virginia Beach, I’ve passed this memorial almost daily most of my life. It wasn’t until 2020 I actually stopped to see what the memorial was all about and pay my respects to great men I’ve known that didn’t make it home.nThe memorial park is nice and peaceful, though the pathway is cracked and worn. The NAS Oceana airfield right there so there is always a chance you’ll see jets flying right overhead.nI hear they put in a new flagpole, which is cool. Old Glory flys high ud83cuddfaud83cuddf8
