Wonderful small Italian restaurant!!nLocated in on the first floor of a historic hotel. Makes you feel like stepped back in time. Fantastic pasta dishes from mussels in linguine to chicken piccata which was delicious and flavorful. I would get there early as there are only 20 tables. You will not be disappointed with the food ,location or price. The owner is a cordial man and will be honest with you about the meats and flavor, explaining the combinations to top off your pasta dish. A nice idea is that the entrees can be split for the lighter eaters.nNot related to the food but I wish I could take the moldings and the patina of the whole place and put it into my house. Reminds me of the opulent times of yesteryear in a small town. To bad they are vanishing.nnTry it you will not be disappointed and please walk the downtown as they are not built like this anymore.nSupport your local small business they are the backbone of America.
Beyond amazing
He makes great suggestions in wines, and they are always delicious. I won't even tell you how great the appetizers and pasta is. I was impressed. It's definitely not your chain Italian restaurant. They are a step above.
Absolutely phenomenal. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was on point. After our lunch our server even gave us a tour of the original hotel lobby, bar and ball room. This is our new favorite spot and we plan to return as often as possible!
The veal is outstanding and the staff is great. Nice atmosphere, the restaurant is located in an old hotel. Definitely recommend.
