Absolutely amazing!! Challenging hike - hardest yet best hike, ever.nnFirst mile in and last mile out I found the most challenging - elevation and slick. Bring twice the amount of water you think you will need (no fresh spring/water fountain available), a good snack/lunch and a hiking buddy. I had to take my pack off a couple of times to navigate the rocks, super tight spaces and very challenging. I now understand why gloves are recommended, not necessary but they would have been useful. Fire road was super easy. Go early, arrived around 915am on a weekday and 2 out of 3 parking lots were full, $20 to park/or covered by annual National Park pass

Gorgeous hike. Worth every mile of the rock scramble. I highly recommend going during the spring or summer. The green is beautiful. Just bring enough water if it's hot.

It’s a beautiful hike. If at all possible go on a week day as opposed to the weekend. It’s very popular and the scrambles aren’t as enjoyable when there’s a line.

Never do this hike on a weekend, especially during the summer. Lines at the rock scramble can take hours. We did it on a Friday in November, arriving at the parking lot at 8:00am. We only saw four or five other hikers until we neared the scramble. The top wasn't crowded at all, but when we got back to the parking lot around 1:30, it was full. Out of 15 hikes we've done in the park, this is by far the best. Nothing compares.

Amazing hike. It definitely challenged me, but the views were totally worth it.
