This is a usually quiet park and safe place to walk. There is a paved walking path around and through the middle of the park. This park includes a playground, covered pavilion, fire pit and plumbed restrooms. The restrooms are usually closed in the winter months. It has a large grassy area on the south side. And various sports fields which include softball, soccer a double tennis court and I've even seen school football practices taking place on the west end in the Fall. The south edge is tree-lined. The east parking area is not very big. But there is parking on both the east and west ends of the park. Dogs must be on leashes and there is one dog waste disposal station that is usually stocked with disposable waste collection bags. I wish the restrooms were open year round and that the park was more consistently observed for non-compliant dog owners. But other than that this is a safe, clean and beautiful green space.
This is a cute park with a decent playground. The tennis courts were closed when I went but I'm excited to get to use them when they open back up! The bathrooms were pretty clean, and, best of all, there was lots of shade to lounge in
Not over crowded. Clean. Fun snd safe toys for the kids to play on. Large bowery
A buddy of mine showed me this place a couple years ago and I caught my first wiper here! Today I landed my first 2 lb bass here! Some days I catch all day, others I get skunked. All around though I love the walking paths here and how clean everyone keeps it! I hope that we can preserve this awesome place so people can continue to have a lovely time here!
Great playground with a fixture for toddlers which is great. Also 2 big open areas including two backstops for baseball. This park does get used for school sports in the fall/spring but the playground is open all year.
There is also a great walking track and bathrooms. The bathrooms are closed during the winter but open around memorial day.
