Out of the way site down a dirt road. Very important in the history of European/Native American culture clash. Site kept up well. Signs that tell you its basic history. Fort is not reconstructed.

It is an educational place where you can study the important factors invented by the famous inventors.

It's an educational site. A good job was done using stones to show you the outline of the fort. I would like to see interactive presentations at the site

A unique historical learning experience

The Fort Christanne Historic Site was well done and worth the small detour along a gravel road. The outlines of the 1714 fort were laid out as a walking path. I only wish the site had more emphasis on the Occoneechi-Saponi people.
