Moving Forward

Moving Forward provided moving services for my move from Virginia to Maryland. Given how stressful moving can be, it was such a relief to find my experience with Moving Forward was hassle-free and easy. The movers were professional, polite, and were careful moving and loading my furniture. Not a scratch on any piece. When we arrived at my new place, they were very helpful positioning the furniture where I wanted. I would highly recommend Moving Forward; their team does an excellent job taking the stress out moving.

I had the good fortune of finding Moving Forward through a Google search. Based on their excellent reviews, and my countless bad experiences with movers, I decided to call them to check them out. Crystal took my call and was extremely helpful, friendly, informative and reassuring. The price was competitive and availability was good. I booked 4 men to help me unpack 2 x 16 ft storage pods. Crystal told me it would take a few hours, but given how long it had taken me to load them, I was sceptical and booked them for 12 hours over a period of two days. As it turned out, Crystal knows what she’s talking about! The team arrived at the appointed time, were friendly, polite and very professional. They listened well to instructions and asked when they weren’t sure. They performed each task with willingness and alacrity, two attributes that are hard to find. They took enormous care with some fragile antiques. The work was done, the pods swept, and everything put away tidily in about 6 hrs. This company only charges for the time used, for which I was extremely grateful. Max, the owner of the business came by to check on progress and introduce himself and made sure that his team had water as the weather was unseasonably hot and dry. I am thrilled to bits with how the day went as I was absolutely dreading it. Moving Forward made the day a huge success and I thoroughly recommend this company to anyone who needs help moving.

Storage sense is a storage facility on pantops and we have a lot of movers in and out. Few people can appreciate movers as well as an indoor storage facility because few people see them as often. These guys are pros. In and out and clean and kind and courteous. I've loved talking with them on the phone and they've come by the office to drop off cards and chat. Such great people, such a good company. When we refer them to our customers, our customers are happy too!

Matae and Max were highly responsive and professional. They quickly evaluated our needs and went about the work in a timely and efficient manner. There was a heavy snowfall over night and yet they were on time and even brought a larger vehicle for safety. My wife and I have had a very challenging 6 weeks and this mover put our minds at ease. We will definitely be calling on them again.

Very thorough and responsive during the planning process, arrived right on time for moving day, and easy to work with. I had an extremely positive experience and was able to keep the move affordable since I only had a few items. Highly recommend.
