This is a cute playground with a pavilion right next to the park so parents can watch their children from the shade. The playground doesn't have any shade over the slides, so you want to come early in the morning or later in the evening so the direct sun isn't on the park (the slides get hot like any park). There are few trees that provide some shady places for a blanket if you like to sit on the grass.
The park is clean, has nice grass, trees a play area for the kids. It is large enough to stretch out and has a path. It’s in a quiet neighborhood.
The park was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean for a public park and while there was a large covered pavilion, it seemed to be overrun by wasps with massive nests. As far as the 2 playgrounds go, they were clean and maintained, but rather simplistic compared to some other, newer parks. All in all, a decent place to go east lunch and let the kiddos run around for an hour.
Playground equipment is slightly dated, but the kids still have lots of fun. There are 2 separate playgrounds and a sidewalk/blacktop trail that goes around the park.
Broke my arm here in 2011 trying to impress a girl... overall great memories (other than breaking my arm) and a great park. Easily deserves a 5 star rating.
