The Byodo-In Temple

This is beautiful, peaceful place, good parking, market across to have some food, there is $5 ticket per person. The gong sounds are calming. Fish ponds are filled with beautiful fishes. There is a cat family, very friendly and nice to pet. Small shop and clean bathrooms. Beautiful place to take pics and walk around if you are in the area.

Absolutely stunning architecture and landscape.nA serene place to take a short stroll and feed koi fish. Temple and grounds are well maintained.nA fantastic gift shop in the area where I bought a journal as a gift to my brother.nArea can be a little busy with visitors but people seemed pretty patient and respectful of others when getting photos or entering the temple.

Beautiful temple located not too far off the main road. The drive in winds through the most beautiful cemetery grounds I have ever seen.nnThe temple costs $5 per person to enter and is a beautiful walk around the property. The setting is absolutely stunning!

A must see as you go towards the North Shore from Honolulu. It's a beautiful Buddhist temple. Cost 5 dollars entry. Set in lovely gardens. Large ornate Japanese bell. Swans. Flowers and set against the backdrop of scenic Hawaiian mountains.

An absolutely beautiful place to go. I highly recommend this temple. It's gorgeous, serene, and educational. You can buy fish food to feed the koi. They have a little gift shop with really interesting items. The temple itself is amazing. It costs $5 to get in.
