Honolulu Vehicle Processing Center VPC

This processing center has probably been the easiest and fastest vehicle shipping center I have gone to AND while going through a major pandemic. If you have all your documentation as outlined in their checklist and your vehicle's fuel is exactly at 1/4 tank or less, you should be done in about 45 minutes total. I recommend scheduling your vehicle shipment a few days before departing just in case there may be some issues precluding your vehicle shipping process. They allow you to return either that same day or the next day without having to make another appointment.

Prior to shipping my car, my door handle worked and my passenger side mirror was a little shaky but it’s always been like that. When I received my vehicle, first thing I do is pull my handle to get in and it completely comes off. I had the options to handle it on the spot but I was in a rush to get back to work. So I said I’ll email them about my damage. While I was driving on H1 my passenger mirror came off and was hanging! I emailed them about the damages and the response was it was noted beforehand there was issues in that those areas! There’s a rust by my door handle that’s been there for 5years, and my handle is plastic. It was deemed that the rust on it was the cause and they weren’t covering it. The rust had nothing to do with where it broke at. Second, the passenger mirror I told the VPC prior to shipping it was shaky but that’s it. I just find it odd after having it for 5 years it suddenly comes off after I pick up. Maybe it was a coincidence that was on it last lim already and it came off. But of course that was “deemed” bad prior also. After going back in forth they just stop emailing back. Make sure you take a video of the conditions of your prior to shipping and after. This was my first time using VPC and a good chance of being my last.

Fast and easy. I had an appointment for a later date but was able to easily do a walk in to grab it sooner since I knew my car was already in and ready to pick up. Walk in times are from 0700 to 1400. I would suggest doing that if you need to get your car sooner.

I had a great experience. I didn't have a appointment...I arrived early and everyone was super friendly and professional. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Norfolk Vehicle Processing Center needs to come here and observe because they have issues.

As long as you have everything in order with your paperwork and you arrive ON TIME, it goes smoothly. The management has improved in recent years.
