Maryknoll School

It's a pretty decent school, most people are being a bit over dramatic about it.

Terrible Highschool. The teachers are actually terrible (only students will know). Terrible food (They use a French food services which is over priced, sometimes have bugs in food, and will charge you for utensils(forks/spoons). Even have to wear uniform for 4 years straight. Now the grade school is only teaching in Chinese because they want Chinese students to go to this school. The teachers have favoritism to students. When I was a freshman, The teachers only liked the student president and that guy was a straight up bully. This guys threw food at us, bump in us on purpose (We were on the side of the walkway), and blaming random things at us We tell the teachers but since he was their favorite student, He didn't get in trouble but instead we got in trouble for blaming it on others. Another reason why is that this school will make you do community service like its a job. If you don't attend any community services, they will e-mail your parents that your child will have to do 4 hours of EXTRA community service. So students who do not want to do any work such as going in mud and getting you whole clothes messy or cut trees for other people, I do not recommend going to Maryknoll High School. In the year 2019, there was one freshman class that got hit by a falling tree and apparently, Maryknoll did not take responsibility for the injuries and also made the students still work there when the work area is very dangerous. Now Maryknoll makes you sign paper saying we will not take responsibility for any injuries. Even if you refuse to sign the paper, the school will give you detention when you stay back in school just for not agreeing with the paper which I do not understand.nnRecommend going to other schools such as MidPac or Punahou. They have better teachers and food probably. Honestly this school is Horrible I wish I can give them 0 stars. Please do not get fooled by the school page. it may say things that are persuading but it is all false information.
