Amazing breakfasts & lunches!nMy sister and I very much enjoyed Basalt.nIn fact, we ate breakfast there every day, a couple of lunches and one dinner as well, that’s how much we liked it! Take a look at my photos of the avocado toast and charcoal pancakes, both beautifully artistic and delicious. Next time we're in Oahu we would definitely go back!

Breakfast was delicious, service superb and atmosphere is modern and casual.nMy husband had the Basalt breakfast with fresh eggs, bacon, potatoes and more. Everything was very flavorful, hot and truly prepared well.nI tried the charcoal pancakes with strawberry guava sauce, the flavor combination was divine. Pancakes were fluffy and not heavy. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The coffee here is excellent, hot and roasted perfectly. I highly recommend Basalt!

What a great hidden restaurant located inside a market. We enjoyed our breakfast so much we came back a second time during our 3 mornings we were in town. We ordered the Charcoal pancakes and meat/egg breakfast items to split. Absolutely delicious. We both had different flavored mimosas. Mimosas were heavy on champagne taste and very little juice taste.

The burger was absolutely excellent. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in Honolulu. That’s the reason for the 5 stars, however the pancakes were way overrated. Didn’t really taste all that great and it was just too much pancake for the sauce provided. But the burger definitely is one of the best I’ve had as I previously mentioned. Amazing char on the burger and the sear was excellent. It had great sauce and lots of toppings. I’ll come back again just for the burgers or the highly reviewed pork bun.

Love it! Thought it would be hard to get a table and more formal spot but its pretty casual and we were seated right away. The service was great! The food was amazing! Have not had food this good in awhile! It lived up to its hype. My friend ordered a burger and even that was amazing! I ordered the seafood mixed grill and gnocci and both were delicious! I would eat here again. Just sad I couldn't try the house made pasta is no longer available. Try the pineapple guava cider its a sure hit as well!
