Food was great, we enjoyed it a lot. Portions were reasonable and the atmosphere was awesome. The only bummer was that they completely forgot the salmon that we paid for, and we took the order to go, so by the time we realized they hadn’t given us the food we bought we were long gone. If you go during peak hours be prepared to have a tough time parking. Pretty good experience overall. Definitely go here if you are looking for some classic Hawaiian food.

Really delicious food. The short ribs were to die for. It’s also worthwhile ordering the Kahlua pork. The servings are small so it’s good to order a few plates to share and taste the different dishes. Be aware that you may need to drive around many times to find parking as there are only a few spots at the front and all the street parking is full. No reservations so better to go when it is not the popular lunch or dinner times to get a table. Worth a visit.

Must try restaurant if you are visiting Honolulu. Excellent hawaiian food. Parking lot is small. Service was fast and attentive. Portions are a bit small. I ordered the beef stew and menu B. Both were great. I didn't fancy the poi. Not that it was not good, it's just not my type of food.

Our first taste into the island. Women working were so nice and very helpful with what was what and how to eat the food. I love menu D, a little of everything so you know what you want to eat more of other places. Parking was impossible but the food and the customer service makes it worth the parking event

A big disappointment. Encouraged by the positive feedback, we decided to taste the traditional traditional Hawaiian style. The pork turned out to be nothing special. Mac and cheese spicy and tasteless. However, the ribs were the worst. Perfectly seasoned, but hard as a rock and TERRIBLY fat. They were literally dripping with grease. Using a few napkins to drain the fat helped. Shocker! I was disgusted. Chefs should see that the fat from the ribs is melting away, and they will get them for a long time to keep them soft. It wasn't cheap at all and the portions were very small. As for me, this restaurant is a failure and I will not recommend it to anyone.
