Sea turtles, manta rays, occasionally monk seals,
My favorite beach on the island. Nice wall to keep the kids safe. Great place to hang with family and friends. Can BBQ at the beach. There is also a Playground for the Keiko and plenty of parking. Always sunny here and it's strong. So bring your sunscreen.
Nice beach, low waves so safe for kids, bathrooms, tables and a fun rainbow playground. A couple parking lots.nQuite a bit of trash everywhere although there are also many trash cans.nThere are serval homeless camps on edge of the main beach and down other beach areas which can feel unsafe with at times with the talking loudly to themselves, drinking, swearing, throwing things and the like. BUT it isn't always like that.nSome days are better than others and if you are able to get to the other side near the short rock wall its amazing.nIt is a beautiful place, great views, nice water, fun sand etc.
I can remember this being one of the most popular places to go to on the Leeward Side. We went here a lot as a child growing up. There use to be a short peir everyone use to jump off of. Also, the rock wall was super high as a child jumping off of into the water. It was all fun times with friends and family swimming and picnicking.nNOWADAYS... you don't have too much fun here with all the homeless people and drugs around the area. It's scary to bring the keiki's here nowadays without worrying about someone snatching your child. YOU CAN'T BE TOO CAREFUL ANYMORE. It seems like, anyone could kidnap your child right from underneath your nose if you're not careful.nI miss the old times/old days
I love this beach! Perfect for younger kids or adults who prefer calmer waters. Plenty of parking and lots of space to social distance.
