Mākaha Beach Park

No place like home

Gorgeous and scenic beach away from other crowded beaches in Oahu. We stayed in Makaha towers, which is just a mile away from the beach. We were at this almost twice a week. Parking can be a lit challenge at peak hours. It’s clean, and we have seen few turtles swimming past us. Fantastic beach for families and relaxation.

Quiet beach with lifeguards at each end. Bathrooms across street. Food truck parks there on some days. Can usually surf at the North end, middle of beach normally calm.

A great place to take a dip, watch the surfers, and watch the sunset! The sand is so soft and it's truly a place where locals like the go. If you go to this beach be sure to respect the environment and everyone around you!
