Beautiful place to,hike smells very freshly because of the plants, herbs, and flowers. There is the area with the lake that you can see so many fish and occasionally duck in the water. There is other places to hike if you go further down the, trail. Very easy hike, even for people who recover from surgery, and walking 4-5 months outs very nice trail to walk on and a light jog may be.

We loved it. Came on a cloudy/Rainy day. But worth it. Beautiful plants. Great paths.nIf it’s been rainy. The area around the lake gets really muddy.nHeads up, lots of mosquitoes.

The gardens are beautiful! We did the lake walk and drove the rest of the park. It would be really nice if there were more handicapped accessible walk ways. Overall I would come back here again.

Absolutely one of the nicer places on the whole island. It's muddy there and a full of visiting nature lovers but really a fantastic place to visit. The lake is FILLED with bump head goldfish and massive Asian Carp. Perfect place for families or dates

Absolutely beautiful!! It’s definitely worth a stop in the botanical gardens when you’re in Oahu! I started at the visitors center where there are restrooms. There was a very friendly and helpful staff member giving out maps and offering suggestions. From there I walked down to the lake which is gorgeous and super peaceful! They also have several lookouts and different camping areas. Even though I went in the winter and there weren’t too many flowers blooming it was still so lush and amazing! Oh and it’s free!! I would highly recommend!!
