Beautiful beach with a hike out around the point at the end. Water is bright blue and some people were out snorkeling in the surf - there are warning signs about the rip tide though. We saw a seal sunbathing (in photo) so that was pretty cool!

Gorgeous beach at the NW most end of Oahu. As far away from Waikiki as one can get. Steep slope into the water and ever changing wave action allow for only experienced swimmers to enter the water.nBut the waves are gorgeous to watch and the remoteness guarantees that you are beyond shouting distance from the next visitor.nThere are bathrooms but no other facilities. And there is NO SHADE! Bring your umbrella or beach tent, plenty of water and be aware that the next food is eight miles away.nMost people who make it to this far away beach give you because of the lack of shade and amenities and leave after 10-20 minutes. Another reason why you might have this beach to yourself on a weekday.nExperienced visitors come with all the gear and sustenance they can fit into their car.

Beautiful place to hike & mountain bike. Coastal trails & bird watching. The trail is a bit rocky & worn out but it's worth the adventure. There are no trees covering the trail so sun exposure is high. Would recommend bringing plenty of water & hitting the trail when it's cooler temperatures.

I highly recommend this amazing and more isolated hike, it is worth the drive out. Fully exposed, we were lucky enough to have an overcast day. Be prepared with water, sunscreen and hats. Humpback whales, monk seals, and albatross nesting grounds! Just beautiful!

Some of the best views on the island! I just respect the area when you go. Great beaches and stop by the cave for a cool picture
