The majority of logging trucks operate without exhaust mufflers, in violation of state law, as they descend from the surrounding hills using their unmuffled compression brakes and send a machine gun hammer sound that echoes up and down the lake. With the saw mills and plywood plants contributing to the health advisories against eating the fish in the lake. I'd suggest recreating somewhere that promotes a more healthy experience.

Tried to launch boat yesterday. Everything closed from kettle marina south. Had to take Gifford ferry to Inchelium and launch from Reservation boat launch then motor up lake to fish near Bradbury launch. I paid t you $45 for a permit and can't use it.nYou owe me to find. There is no excuse for having all the tamps closed at the same time. Learn how to manage the resource you charge the public to use. Pathetic operating plans.

Lake Roosevelt behind Grand Coulee Dam is a recreational dream. The entire length is beautiful and abounds with sites for boating, fishing, and camping. Just driving up it satisfies the desire for scenic beauty. I would say that boating is the best way to explore its endless coves.

Great lake, tons of space. Limited nice beaches. House boat rentals, boat and jet ski rentals. Tons of fun.
