This place is a hidden gem. Take out only right now. While all the other restaurants food quality seems to be going down hill the past few months Happy Garden has remained consistently good. If I am craving good food without rolling the dice, this has become my new place to order and pickup from on the way home.
Food is always good. Pick up orders are at the side window with the portable awning.
The prices are really reasonable here for the quality of food you're getting.
I have to give it a 5 star! The food is excellent! Not only that my wife and I decided we wanted take out Chinese food. Happy Garden was up the street and to the right. The time was after 8:00. They were closed. I drove by the pick up window to head home after I realized they were closed and a employee waved me down and asked if I wanted to order some food. He said they were closed but they would more than happy to fire up thier equipment! It was the best food we have had in years! Oh, this took place at about 8:45 pm. He didn't have to wave me down! What does that tell you about the integrity of this restaurant? I suggest it highly!
Not the worst Chinese food but definitely not even close to the best. First off, very little portions for the price. Most other Chinese restaurants are cheaper and give you way bigger portions. Every time I get Chinese take out I can never finish my plate and always have left overs. I ate everything I got from this combo and was left still hungry. I recommend going to new dragon fountain when they open after the covid. Or go to Safeway. I hate the Safeway Chinese deli, but I would recommend that over this place.
