Knickerbocker Bicycle Bridge

So peaceful. Feels secluded but there was a moderate amount of foot and bicycle traffic. Signs and helpful people helped me know where to go and how to get there without getting lost. Found a lot of blackberries on the path.

This area is so beautiful especially in the evening time when you can watch the sunset off the water it's gorgeous

This bridge is an integral part of my morning commute. Sometimes I catch the sun rising over the Wilamette river framed by the I-5 bridge. There are benches at a few points on the bridge so you can sit for a bit and enjoy the views. The city of Eugene recently upgraded the railings and makes it look better. This bridge makes the city of Springfield easily accessible from Eugene by bicycle along the bike paths.

Eugene bike paths are amazing. Safe for family. Easy to navigate. You can get almost any where in town.
