Charlie's place may be small, but he has had the stuff I need every time. My last need was a 3' chunk of 1x12 board. Yep, he had a 1x12 standing there and he chopped off a 3' chunk for me. Other visits have provided me with plumbing supplies, nuts & bolts, weather stripping, etc. I am really, really happy that Gardiner has a hardware store again! Charlie is a great guy and will help you any way he can.

Sign says they open at 8:00am on Mondays. We were standing there at 8:40am on a Monday and there was no one there nor was anyone answering the phone.
Went in looking for an obscure item, he didn't have it, but one phone call and I had it in my hand within five minutes.
