I just moved to Brookings, I wanted to find fresh coffee beans and support local business. I am so pleased that I found Kool Beans, this place is amazing. I went in with my mother who lives in Wisconsin, we loved this place. We met Kurt, who answered our questions, they roast beans daily and get organic beans from 12 different countries....wow!nMy mom was so impressed, she picked up a couple of pounds to take back home. We sampled a few different blends and enjoyed a pour over cup. Friendly staff, very welcoming place. I bought a Kool Beans canister for under $8, holds a pound of coffee, keeps it fresh and the best part is you bring it back empty and they will fill it and give you $1 off of your next pound purchase. The prices for a pound of coffee is reasonable, plus they custom ground it for me on the spot for the coffee maker I own.nIf you live in the area and drink coffee, stop in and support your local small businesses.....the community needs support in these trying times. Kool Beans owner and staff, thank you for doing what you do and bringing an amazing experience to your community.nI'll be a repeat customer for a long time.

Kool Beans is THE place to go in Brookings for coffee! The staff is so friendly, and the drinks are fabulous. I am particularly fond of the lavender latte. Kool Beans is a guaranteed stop when we're in Brookings!

Great spot to meet friends for coffee. Also love to order coffee for home brew from kool beans. Salted Caramel is the absolute best!

Kool beans has the most unique coffee flavors and atmosphere! The staff is incredible and they are always so friendly! The downtown location is a great place to study as well.

Kool Beans is my favorite coffee shop in town! I love grabbing a coffee and some of their coffee beans. The Paul Bunyan is my favorite drink of all time and definitely is the highlight of my fall!
