The Haunted River

The Haunted River, and Christmas Light walk is one of the BEST in Idaho. You get the absolute bang for your buck, the haunt is amazing for all ages, and so is the light show! They have just under a mile walk of many things to see for both occasions! I suggest this place to everyone EVERY year, and my family and I make sure we go every year!

We went for the Christmas River and it was freezing cold and the line was extremely long. But those things aside, the actual set up was nice. They had food stands and on the river walk they had characters from movies (The Grinch and Frozen) as well as Santa Clause. The lights were really pretty as well. Good place to take children.

I went to the Christmas River. Could've been set up better, parking lot was good but the in-and-out were not separate so it created a bit of a bottle neck. Consessions were very reasonably priced! The lights are very well done and the characters were super fun! The Grinch was the best and very fun to interact with!

Our family had a great time at The Haunted River! It has a great environment. The Haunters were great. They allowed for smaller groups of 10 or less, and would keep enough time between groups. They had lanterns for each group which made for perfect lighting. We will definitely come again!

This is such an awesome haunted attraction. Totally worth the price & wait— we got there about 9:30 and waited in line for 2 hours but it was so good! It took us a good half hour to get through the whole thing and the actors were so good. Will definitely be coming back next year!
