This was a great park! My kids spent hours here. There was something for everyone. A small zip line, a mommy and me swing, swings for kids or adults that need assistance, big play structure with fun sides, a fun wabble boat, a huge spider web, a giant pirate ship, and a rock structure. There is picnic tables with a cover off to the side with a big grassy area. Across from the play ground there is a big base ball field and the fair grounds. We will definitely be returning here often. I hope people who come here will take care of this park by picking up after themselves and keeping it nice for others to enjoy.
Mercy Idaho Falls has some of the best parks and this is one of them. Being at the park, enjoying the animals and sounds of the river cant be beat. I love that our town has invested in the walking paths and has worked to create beautiful focal points.
This is an awesome park with things for kids of all ages. We didn’t visit the memorial, so i can’t speak to that. However, the park was really cool. There were even things for me to do!nnThe rock wall is pretty epic. I wish that it was in water because it would be really cool to cliff jump off. That being said, there is an area that has a pretty steep drop off so you gotta make sure the kids are climbing over the wall at the top.nnThere is a pirate ship, “Arrrrrrr!”. The pirate ship is pretty neat and something you don’t see very often. The kids loved it.nnThere are two rope towers in which I was able to climb. I wouldn’t want my young kids climbing on it because it is very tall. Older kids/teenagers would be fine.nnThere are slides and swings and swings for toddlers. There is also a rope swing that runs on a track. The older “younger” kids really loved this. I tried to pull on the rope and it definitely wouldn’t hold an adult. Super cool though!nnOverall, the park offers many things to do along with the memorial. There is a baseball field, picnic areas, grassy areas and a good amount of parking. This is a great place to go and play and you could spend a fair amount of time just playing!
Such a fun place for kids and their parents!! Normal play grounds make it difficult to follow the kids around and help them on some of the equipment, but this place is great for the helicopter parents like me! There are so many options for the kids. They could spend a couple of hours here and never get bored. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel like it was too crowded because there is so much equipment spread out for all different ages.
Great park. Lots of room, not to crowded, built on an old landfill. Snake river forms the southwest boundary. Really cool.
