Mads Merc & Soda Fountain

We went to Mad Merc's on our way home from City of Rocks after hearing so many good things. It did not disappoint. My kids were ecstatic to get ice cream after playing all day and I had the key lime pie. It was Heavenly. The Graham cracker crust was delicious and the lime was just the right amount of zing and sweet. I can't wait to go back and try the raspberry cream. Service was quick and everyone was so kind. If your are in the Albion area, you don't want to miss a stop here.

We decided to come visit Mads the other day after camping. What a great little gem in Albion. I had a Chocolate milk shake, my wife had the pistachio ice cream. The milk shake was nice and thick and they give you a wide straw. The ice cream is so creamy and delicious. Great service. We didn't try the pie, but coconut cream would be my favorite

We love the ice cream!!! And the girls are so sweet!! I went the last 2 days to get ice cream for my kids and go above and beyond!! They give my twins just a little scoop, my girl a spoon and a cup, and let my son take forever to decide on a yummy flavor!! We have loved all the flavors we have tried so far!! Amazing customer service!!! We stop for ice cream every time we go to Albion!!! Best ice cream place!!!

We went on a drive up to Albion with plans to check out this cute store, but when we arrived we realized they were closed. The owner happened to be there watering the flowers and invited us in to order drinks even though it was outside of normal business hours. Now THAT is awesome customer service! Not only was the owner friendly but was so patient with our small children in her shop, and very accommodating to our four year old that requested “a pink drink!” And made her a special concoction to fill the request. We will definitely return, this store is so awesome!

Absolutely delicious pies! Such sweet satisfaction when we tried the sour cream lemon pie.nAlso took my daughter there to try the ice cream, it’s now her top favorite and most requested. The cute outdoor seating area was a hit with beautiful views and fresh air.
