El Caporal

We were in town for a few days and decided to try this place out. Wow, what amazing service and food. The place was packed, the parking lot hardly had any room (we circled around until we found someone backing out) and they still managed to get us seated in less than five minutes. I think this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have been to in a long time. I can’t wait to go back again. I wouldn’t mind making the drive from Twin Falls to eat here. Well worth the stop.

Normally this place is my goto Mexican restaurant, when I'm in town. The last time I was in our service was great but our food was barely warm, and it took forever to reach our table. People that were seated long after us were being served their food before us. I wonder if they just forgot about us. Hopefully next time will be like I normally remember them. The food is always excellent, when it's hot.

Last visit was outstanding. This visit was rated a 2 , the waiter made me feel like he couldn't be bothered with us. As we were talking asking him for things he was too busy looking at another directions for other stuff I know I only had to ask him I check three times I had to ask for my credit card was twice and still take my receipt up to the front counter

This place stays so busy; which is usually a good sign. I enjoyed the experience, maybe because I just consider eating out an adventure. However, just to order and eat, we were there over one and a half hours. I was just extremely tired of sitting by the time we were finished. The food was ok but the wait really took away from the experience.

Updated. I gave this place another try and had a great time. Staff was professional and efficient as always but the food came out better. Molcajete dish was excellent. Chicken soup was much better than the last time. I'll be back.
